NSW Health Pathways to Community Living Initiative (PCLI)

For almost a decade, O'Connell Advisory has supported NSW Health's Pathways to Community Living Initiative, which assists people living with severe and persistent mental illness to transition from institutional care to community-based housing and support, or specialist aged care. 

Our work has included market sounding with service providers, financial modelling, evaluation of service delivery approaches, tender evaluation and research into alternative accommodation and funding models across Australia. This long-term engagement has helped inform policy, investment and service reform to strengthen community-based mental health supports and improve outcomes for people with complex needs.
